Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about travel eSIMs — from compatibility and setup to data, billing and refunds.
eSIM basics
An eSIM is a digital SIM built into your phone. Instead of inserting a plastic SIM card, you install a mobile data plan by scanning a QR code — so you can get online abroad without swapping cards.
Compatibility
Most phones released from 2019 onward support eSIM, including iPhone XS and newer, Google Pixel 3 and newer, and recent Samsung Galaxy S, Note and Z models. Use the Compatibility button on any plans page to see the full list.
Buying & plans
Pick a local plan for one country, a regional plan for a multi-country trip, or a global plan if you travel widely. Then choose the data amount and validity that fit how long you'll be away and how much you'll use.
Installation & activation
After checkout you'll receive a QR code by email and in your account. On your phone, go to Settings → Mobile/Cellular → Add eSIM, then scan the QR code. The whole process takes under a minute.
Using your eSIM
Yes. Your physical SIM and the eSIM run side by side. Keep your home SIM for calls and texts and use the eSIM for data — just set the eSIM as your data line.
Billing & refunds
We accept major credit and debit cards. Your eSIM is delivered instantly after a successful payment — there's nothing to ship.
